Commuters traveling Westbound on Highway 10 between Appleton and Waupaca are being inundated with a new anti-gun billboard designed to skew the facts and mislead the public into opposing guns.
It’s just one example of how the gun grabbers are misquoting statistics to mislead the public into opposing guns.
Of course, gun owners are the first people to implement gun safety and advocate for preventing unsupervised access to guns by young children.
But that’s not what drivers on Hwy. 10 see when they read this sign.
The only message that comes across here is …
“GUNS ARE EVIL. BAN ALL GUNS.”
“SAVE THE CHILDREN.”
It’s about duping the public into supporting so-called “reasonable restrictions” like “Lock Up Your Safety” laws that force you to lock away all guns in your home (home invaders love these laws).
There’s no telling how many tens of thousands of drivers read this sign every day. And we can assume these and many like it are scattered all over Wisconsin highways.
WGO has launched a campaign to counter these lies with a statewide pro-gun billboard campaign.
Here’s a working draft of the sign we’d like to put up on Hwy. 10:
Editor’s Note: It will cost WGO a minimum of $12,000 per year to run one billboard, and that’s not even including the graphic design and printing costs. The actual cost will be closer to $20,000 per year. If you’d like to make a contribution to help WGO in this mission, click here to donate.

WGO works for grassroots gun owners, not politicians. While many gun lobbies fight for “reasonable gun control,” WGO sets a higher standard: We oppose all gun control — regardless of the political party — and work tirelessly to restore the Second Amendment. WGO has angered many politicians who would like people to believe that they support gun rights — even when they vote against them. Click here to join
