Whereas, The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights, and Section 25 of the Wisconsin Constitution, enumerate and protect the right of the people to bear arms without infringement; and

Whereas, the will of the people is to decriminalize carrying a concealed handgun without a concealed handgun permit for citizens who are legally eligible under state and federal law to possess a handgun.

Whereas, The courts have ruled that the police have no legal responsibility to protect an individual, and that individuals are responsible for protecting themselves against grave bodily harm or threat of death; and

Whereas, It has been proven that crime rates drop in counties where concealed carry is not prohibited or restricted; and

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, We, the undersigned citizens of the great State of Wisconsin demand your full support of Constitutional Carry and that laws prohibiting unrestricted concealed carry be eliminated in Wisconsin.
